Low interest rate, quality work helping north side builder expand in Uplands housing subdivision.

Uplands residential subdivision in north Lethbridge and Dave Scherloski, owner of Sherlock Homes, have become synonymous in recent years.

And both continue to grow because of a booming market that demands street expansion and lot development.

"I haven't built anywhere else for four years," said Scherloski, viewing his new show home for the Lethbridge Parade of Homes that kicks off April 26.

Weather is a concern this year. It may not allow him to fully complete the exterior of the house at 113 Uplands Blvd. and could make it impossible to sod the lot.
