Steps to Home Build:
- The front yard can be landscaped with sod and trees of
customers choice. Gravel is also placed under deck.
- All electrical fixtures are required at this time for the
electrician to install.
- The electrician installs all lights, plugs, switches, and
makes them operational
- During this time the builders deliver all doors and casing
and any other oak material. The stainer then prepares it for
the finisher.
- The finish carpenter now enters the home for a period of
2 to 3 weeks and installs all doors and trim and insures the other
trades are taken care of. He also answers any concerns the customer
might have.
- The cabinet manufacturer now delivers and installs their
product.
- The lino and/or floor tiles are installed.
- After lino installation, the kitchen back splash and bathroom
walls tiles are installed.
- The dishwasher is necessary by this time.
- The plumber now installs all sinks, toilets, taps, shower
doors and the dishwasher.
- The finisher must now complete all trim work before the
rug layer arrives.
- The finisher removes all interior doors and all debris.
- The rug layer installs all flooring throughout home.
- After this stage, all interior finishing is done such
as: paint touch up and all other details are completed.
- A very thorough cleaning is done throughout the home.
- The builder requires all new appliances to be delivered two
days before possession so they can be installed.
- All utilities must be called 2 weeks prior to possession
for final readings in the purchasers own name.
- The builder meets with the new homeowner which requires
adequate time to go over their new home, warranty, and all paperwork
for completion of the final sale and possession of home.
