Why home buyers might shy away from North Lethbridge in favor of the westside is a mystery venerable detective Sherlock Homes would be hard-pressed to solve.

The Uplands, located just northeast of the 13th St. and 26th Ave. N. intersection, is a modern family oriented neighborhood with easy access to both downtown and the industrial park.

It's a neighborhood that is close to schools and shopping yet also only a stone's throw from rolling fields.

While the Uplands is expanding and attracting more families, it still has enormous potential, says one city builder.

And while Sherlock Holmes might not figure this case out, Sherlock Homes is making a case of its own for settling in the Uplands.
